Experienced Engineers in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering for Project Sites (Domestic and Overseas) of Power Sector Northern Region (PSNR), Power Sector Eastern Region (PSER) and Power Sector Western Region (PSWR).


Qualifications :
For Civil : Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Civil discipline with at least 60 % marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from recognized Institute/University.

For Other Disciplines: Full time Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation discipline with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate from recognized Institute/University.

Note: - Aggregate of marks of all years/ semesters in all the above posts, means average of marks/CGPA of all the years/ semesters without taking into account the weightage, if any, given to any particular year/ semester by the Institute or University.

Selection Process

Selection process will consist of Personal Interview.
All eligible candidates shall be invited for Personal Interview. Candidates invited for Personal Interview will be reimbursed to and fro actual fare limited to AC 2 Tier train fare from the starting station or the mailing address whichever is nearer to the place of interview by the shortest route on production of proof of journey.

Candidates will be called for interview based on self-certified information furnished by them. However the supporting documents in original as prescribed in our web-site will be required for verification at the time of interview and if any of the required documents is not produced by candidate at the time of interview for verification then he/she will neither be allowed to appear for the interview nor any fare will be reimbursed to him/her.

How To Apply

All Candidates may have a prior look at the complete application form and ensure that all the required details are available with them before filling up the online application form.

STEP 1: (For all candidates)
All eligible candidates are required to fill in the ONLINE application form and submit the same.
* SC / ST / OBC, Physically Challenged, J&K Domiciled candidates and Ex-Servicemen should carefully fill up the respective columns, since these details will not be allowed to be changed later.
* To fill up your Work Experience please click here to download the format. The filled up format for Work Experience must be attached and sent to the mailing address along with the Acknowledgement Slip.

STEP 2: (For all candidates)
After submitting the application ONLINE, a unique Acknowledgement Number will be allotted to the candidate and he/she will then be required to download two copies of the acknowledgement slip.
* One Copy of acknowledgement slip may be retained by the Candidate.
* Another copy of Acknowledgement Slip, duly signed by the applicant and with his/her recent photograph pasted on the slip along with Original Filled in Work Experience Format (to be downloaded from our website)

The candidate should necessarily super scribe the Envelope containing the above documents, position applied i.e. ‘Manager (E4) ’ and the Function applied for e.g. ‘ Hydro’ .
* Last date of receipt of Acknowledgement Slip and filled in work experience format – 08th September, 2011.
* Candidates residing in Far flung areas, last date – 15th September, 2010.
NOTE:
* BHEL is not responsible for any postal delays in receipt of documents.
* Far Flung areas: defined for candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad.
If documents are submitted by hand or ‘Through Courier Service’, the benefit of extended time will not be available regardless of the place of residence of applicant. While sending the Ack. Slip, such candidates should positively super-scribe on the envelope “Candidate from __________ (Name of the State) State”.
* Candidates employed in Government/ Semi-Govt./ PSU/ Nationalised Banks/ Autonomous Bodies shall normally send their applications through proper channel. However, in the event of difficulty, they may send the applications directly and produce the relieving order from their organization in the event of their selection.
* The candidates are advised to retain a copy of acknowledgement slip for their future reference.
